Restitution - Ten Percent Rebate Program

Through the Ten Percent Rebate Program (TPR), the VCGCB provides counties with a 10 percent rebate on all restitution fine and order monies remitted to the Fund within 45 days of the end of the month in which the funds are collected. (Government Code 13963)
In FY 06-07, $65,100,000 in restitution fines and orders was collected and the VCGCB rebated approximately $5.6 million to the counties.
